India is renowned for its rich Cultural Heritage. Various Artforms like Music, Dance, Painting, Sculpture, Architecture & other Allied Arts have thrived in this country for Centuries now & needless to say, have reached high amounts of Sophistication.

The role of Art as an integral part of life was recognised by Indians very early. The ancient scholers have devided, identified & natured as many as 14 LESSON(techniques) FORMS & 64 ART FORMS.(१४ विद्या ६४ कला)

प्राचीन भारतीय संस्कृतीच्या अभ्यासकांनी, भारतीय कलांची '१४ विद्या ६४ कलां'मध्ये मांडणी केली आहे. या सर्व विद्या आणि कलांचा बारकाईने अभ्यास करीत असतांना योगविद्या, धनुर्विद्या, ज्योतिषविद्या, नृत्य, नाट्य, संगीत, साहित्य अशा अनेक कलाविष्कारांची ओळख करून घेण्याचा प्रयत्न सुरु झाला. ह्या प्रयत्नाचाच एक भाव म्हणून अनेक कलांचे अभ्यासक, समीक्षक, कलावंत, लेखक, दिग्दर्शक अशा अनेक कलासक्त मंडळींनी एकत्र येउन '१४ विद्या ६४ कला' या संस्थेची स्थापना केली.
